    The Dow Jones Industrial Average <.DJI> rose 333.67 points, or 1.4 percent, to 24,194.13, the S&P 500 <.SPX> gained 38.61 points, or 1.50 percent, to 2,619.61 and the Nasdaq Composite <.IXIC> added 97.33 points, or 1.44 percent, to 6,874.49.
