Trump said in a letter to Kim released by the White House that based on the statement, he felt it was “inappropriate, at this time, to have this long-planned meeting.” He added that the North Koreans talk about their nuclear capabilities, “but ours are so massive and powerful that I pray to God they will never have to be used.”

The North Korean statement that he referred to called Vice President Mike Pence a “political dummy” for his comments on the North and said North Korea is just as ready to meet the U.S. in a nuclear confrontation as at the negotiating table

Trump said in his letter that the world is losing a “great opportunity for lasting peace and great prosperity and wealth” now that their summit has been canceled.

The president agreed to the historic sit-down in March after months of trading insults and nuclear threats with the North Korean leader. But after criticism from North Korea, Trump cast doubt this week on whether the meeting would happen.

One does not negotiate with a gun pointed to their heads, as Neville Chamberlain did in 1938 with the Nazis. In fact, in 1968, then Presidential candidate Richard Nixon stated “When a fourth rate military power such as North Korea, can seize our ships on the high seas, then respect for America has reached an all time low”. I guarantee everyone, that if Donald Trump had been President in 1968, the North Koreans would not have seized the SS Pueblo. If so, he would have sent in naval, air and ground forces, to have rescued not only resecued the crew, and the ship, but also to have punished North Korea. At the time, LBJ did nothing, while the crew of the Pueblo was beaten and tortured for a year, until they were finally released. To this date, those momzarim in N. Korea are still holding the Pueblo, which remains a commissioned U.S. Navy ship. Trump was correct in calling off the summit, as one does not negotiate while being threatened, as Obama would have done. One should only negotiate from a position of strength. As the Chinese used to state, “take one step backwards, and two steps forward”.

Watch KJU come begging back to the table. Boy, has Trump made him look stupid and without even meeting him. If this isn’t a mastery than I don’t know what is.

How stupid do Obama and Clinton feel right about now? Trump accomplished all this without ever leaving the White House.
