Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Capt. Steven Strivelli said the child they’re calling “Baby Jane” was found near Boynton Inlet on June 1 had “very likely” floated northward from Broward County.

He told reporters that investigators “desperately need to talk” to the baby’s parents. He says multiple agencies are reviewing numerous tips, but none have panned out.

He would not say whether the medical examiner has discovered a cause of death, or whether investigators believe the baby was dead before she went into the water.

How low can human beings stoop and still be referred to as “human”? I thought we’d seen it all after the Shoah, but their capacity for cruelty & disregard for human life never ceases to amaze me. An innocent, unwanted baby. Shocking.

The parents, if located, should be sterilized, so that they may never be able to reproduce, and harm another innocent child again!

If the article said DNA tests showed that the baby is likely of Jewish ancestry would you post like this?

Or would you say “Oy nebech, postpartum depression is such a tragedy that a mother would throw her baby into the ocean. I hope she gets treatment but she will live with this for the rest of her life, the poor thing”.

DNA has changed everything. It is possible that the parents will not be identified now, or even soon. But in the fullness of time, the government can wait until a DNA sample is entered into a database. The computer will find the match and a laptop someplace will beep and the police will have their culprits.
