Hellinger is an Orthodox Jew, and strictly observes the Sabbath.

Two of the forums were held during Passover and a third was held on Saturday — the Jewish Sabbath.

He is challenging Councilwoman Phyllis Smith for Seat 3.

”I am not going to do anything to compromise my religion,” said Hellinger, a father of 10. “And I think people will respect me for that.”

If elected, Hellinger said he would push to have more city events during the week — noting a recent North Miami Beach surplus auction was held on a Saturday.

Smith said she didn’t think Hellinger’s absence from the forums gives her an edge.

”An opponent’s an opponent,” she said. “I think the residents of North Miami Beach deserve me to earn my seat.”

Here is an easy way to remember the Ten Commandments

    1. Believe in 1 G-d!
    2. Don’t believe in 2 Gods
    3. No G D’s (3 Words i.e. Hashem’s name in vain) I’ll let you figure out what G D’s Means.
    4. 2 Challahs + 2 Candles = 4 (Shabbos)
    5. If you don’t listen to your parents you get a patch (hand has 5 fingers)
    6. Do not Kill (Sixth Shooter)
7 Seventh Heaven (Happy marriage) (Do not commit Adultery)
    8. Do not Steal (8 looks like handcuffs)
9 Do not lie (upside down six) (Bear False Witness)
10 Do not be jealous (reach out with both hands for something that is not yours 10 is a double digit)

    #5 ,
Dont sign pashkevillim, put your name down.. my father isnt a meshichist.. he is a mentch..

#1 and #4 my father has never taken any sides in any political fights… why search for problems ?

    #9,
You poshut make sense, my father has a degree as a pharmacist from long island university.. he has worked as a pharmacist for 20 years and owns a medical equipment business.

Bottom line, is it ahavas yisrael or sinas yisrael? he needs 1200 votes to win.. .

I am sure the herald made a mistake.. but in fact he is keeping lo tignov in not accepting any campaign contributions.

You will not find a more honest man than my father.. ask the meshulach that slept in my room last night, those that eat over friday night and the various jews whom have found loving shelter in our home.

Rabbi lehrfield had good reasons in endorsing my father. Cut out the hate and lets see some shalom
