Lara Alqasem, 22, flew to Israel on Oct. 2 on a study visa but was refused entry by security officials who cited her role as president of a small local chapter of Students for Justice in Palestine at the University of Florida.

The Supreme Court in its ruling, seen by Reuters, overturned a lower court decision that initially backed the decision by Israeli authorities.

“The Supreme Court’s decision is a victory for free speech, academic freedom, and the rule of law,” Alqasem’s lawyers said in a statement.

Alqasem’s case has touched off debate in Israel over whether democratic values have been compromised by a 2017 law that bars the entry of foreigners who publicly support boycotts over Israel’s policies toward the Palestinians.

As a proclaimed enemy of the state, it is ludicrous to allow her entry.

Disgusting, a supporter of BDS is allowed the freedom of Eretz HaKodesh to disseminate her lies and hatred of Yidden while studying in Israel. Throw her OUT with the rest of the garbage.

How would the Justices of the Israeli Supreme court know “The TRUTH” , they only live in Israel work and pay Taxes in Israel sending their kids to the army to defend Israel etc. The TRUTH is that the Trumpist Evangelist are hiding their believes that they are really against the State of Israel and their Democracy. Like their POTUS they dont pay Taxes, Dont go to the Army just want to tell us Yiden how to live and for whom to vote. It assur to vote Republican

Israel is a country of law. The Supreme Court of the State of Israel has ruled in her favor. Whether we agree with the ruling or not, the law is the law.

of course we all knew that the Israeli supreme court would allow her to remain; they are a group of liberal lefties who idolize the US and think that by being sooooo liberal they are being so great!

Too bad we can’t change our supreme court like Trump effectively did in the US; we are stuck with these backward vision liberals who can not think like a Jew!

Chazal tell us that the Kadosh Baruch Hu chooses the leaders of the great nations. Donald Trump was HIS choice and he has helped Israel more than any president before him.

If the founders of the State of Israel were as socially and viscerally intolerant of the frum, as are most of you against the frei, the “Status-quo” would never have been agreed to, the Chareidim would all have to support themselves, their mosdos would not receive subsidies, and their butts would all be drafted…just like every other Jew in the country.

The founders knew that Israel is a home for all Jews…all Jews. You triumphal zealots think it’s just for draft dodging you.
