In my many visits to Washington I and others were always welcome in his office of Secretary of Housing, He was a true friend of the Orthodox Jewish Community.
A good loyal American who should have been elected with Bob Dole in 1996. As with John McCain, Bob Dole’s age became a factor and an opportunity to elect the right team for America was shot down for a younger candidate(the charming yet full of crap Bill Clinton). I’m afraid history is repeating itself. Rest in peace Mr. Kemp.
Kemp was a very classy very BIPARTISAN individual form whom we can all elarn a huge lesson avbout putting the issues and the poeple and the country ahead of politics and parties. RIP.
Ronald Reagan, Jack Kemp, George W. Bush, & John McCain. I knew/know them personally and I knew/know them well. All 4 had one thing in common: A true love for Yidden and a true love for Israel and not for political reasons.
