With his poll numbers still plummeting, Paterson has been popping out an array of proposals in the past couple weeks to win back political friends who could help his election chances next year.
Today, it was environmental activists.
“Bottled water, while the water may be pure, is no friend of the environmental community,” Paterson told a group of environmentalists near the Capitol.
“Its manufacture, its transport, its storage, its chilling, everything that has to do with it is environmentally unfriendly,” the Democrat added.
hes soo crazy!!!!!! arent enough ppl out of jobs as it is?? why is he looking too send more companys bankrupt!!! will he be happy when evan or poland springs goes out of buisness? anyway i think he should put his effort into more normal things (things that make sense & have a chance of actually working) & he will be able to have the general public go for him..
meshiga!
what does he think?
nebach !! trying hard
Bottled water is a huge scam anyway so whatever you think of the “green” issues, it will save the state money. If they cannot make public drinking water safe, they should just buy some cheap Italian wine (or is that yayin nesech)
Wow now I will vote for him, and my wife too. Such a brave guy!
He can drink from the TAP!!! If he wants bottled water let him pay at HIS OWN EXPENSE!!!
Thank you Governor for doing the right thing.
While it makes sense to cut the budget. The fact that he only did it for enviromental reasons makes him look stupid.
I buy bottled water for the car when I make sales calls. It is cold and half frozen in the morning and I know it is clean. Who wants to drink out of a water fountain with swine flu germs from illegal immigrants and drug addicts? Not me.
Earth to my fellow yidden: Your Hero Simcha Felder has proposed doing the same exact thing in new york city…
what do we care honestly if the state or city gvt decides its a good way to save money by stopping all purchasing of expensive botteled waters? especially when we have the best tap water in the world? they are talking about all the gvt offices, all the meetings etc. its a great idea both for the state AND the city level which both councilman’s simcha felder and eric gioia have proposed
the state/city purchased the water by the container loads. they are storing it in NJ. they believe that we may get hit with a tsunami/katrina disaster & the tab water will not be an option because it will be contaminated that time. so now this genious wants to leave red cross in new york without water. amazing ill have to stock up on my own!
