Richmond, VA – The Rev. Al Sharpton has called on Democratic Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam and Attorney General Mark Herring to resign over their admission that they wore blackface in the 1980s.

In a fiery speech delivered Thursday at Virginia Union University, Sharpton said of Northam: “I’m not going to be your minstrel!”
Sharpton spoke to a crowd of about 300 students, faculty, clergy and political leaders at the historically black college.
Northam admitted to wearing blackface at a dance party in 1984. On Wednesday, Herring acknowledged that he too had worn blackface to look like a rapper during a college party in 1980. Sharpton noted that blackface has always been demeaning to African-Americans, “mocking us, making us minstrels!”
Members of the crowd shouted in agreement and jumped to their feet several times during Sharpton’s speech.

Sure, Sharpton wants the white guys to resign. But is he okay with the Lieutenant Governor, a black man who stands accused of rape?

I heard Sharpton on TV this morning say that only those who have done wrong and then paid the price or accepted their punishment can be rehabilitated. However he has never taken responsibility or paid any price for the slanderous accusations he made during the phony Tawana Brawley case – a girl who got Sharpton to slander LEOs because she didn’t want to be punished for coming home late.
To #6 - What about Sharpton instigating the violence during the Crown Heights Pogrom, during the Summer of 1991, in Crown Heights? To this date, that momzer has downplayed his role, regarding instigating the crowd to riot, burn, and loot. He even stated “If those diamond merchants want to get it on with me, I’ll pin their yarmulkes back on their heads”.
He’s a typical liberal, they have selective hearing, seeing and memory.
How desperate are the liberal networks that they have to feature this fraud of a reverend.
