Next door to the Chabod of Poway synagogue, Father Alexander Federoff said Sunday that he is praying for the recovery of Rabbi Yisroel Goldstein, who was hospitalized with a gunshot wound to the hand after Saturday’s shooting.

Federoff says his Orthodox Christian congregation was in the middle of a prayer service when the gunshots rang out and that his church welcomed Jewish congregants and tried to offer them comfort.

Poway Mayor Steve Vaus has been meeting with residents, offering hugs, and vowing solidarity.

BH in these dark times it’s good to know we have a president that’s a friend of the Jews.

This article was extremely moving, and especially significant, in lieu of that fact, that it appeared that most of the mourners were gentiles.

It’s high time for the usa to follow Chinas lead in abolishing the use of firearms and weapons of any kind. In addition to having a great firewall for monitoring online rhetoric, hate, and evil discourse of any kind, China has the capability and expertise of arresting and questioning those potential murderers, terrorists etc, way in advance of their despicable actions of murder or act which upsets the social stability and security of the chinese citizens. It’s no wonder that statistically crime, murder, etc. Is virtually zero in china with a population of 1.4 billion. If China can do it then the mighty usa with all its power and know how can certainly keep its citizens safe from the lone wolves way in advance!
