Press Secretary Sarah Sanders says Trump granted clemency to Michael Behenna of Oklahoma.
Behenna was convicted in 2009 of unpremeditated murder in a combat zone after killing a suspected al-Qaida terrorist in Iraq. He was paroled in 2014 and had been scheduled to remain on parole until 2024.
Sanders says Behenna’s case attracted broad support from the military, Oklahoma elected officials and the public.
She also says Behenna was a model prisoner, and “in light of these facts, Mr. Behenna is entirely deserving” of the pardon.
He deserves jail for only puting 1 terrorist in retirement and not more
Trump is a gangster. What a filthy man.
What about commutation of the insane, restrictive parole conditions, for Jonathan Pollard?
Thank you mr president for

A quick peak at Wikipedia shows that the prosecution in the case had withheld evidence from the defense during the trial. As example, the government’s own forensic analyst had determined that the physical evidence matched the defense claim that suspect had lunged at the defendant (meaning that the shooting was in defense). That (among other things) had been withheld from the defense.
