Jerusalem – Charedim have intensified their campaign against authorities over the case of the woman suspected of starving her three-year-old son, printing 500,000 copies of a booklet entitled, “Blood Libel” just before Tisha Be’Av eve.

The 16-page booklet, refers to the “Axis of Evil” of Hadassah Hospital, police and welfare services.
It also contains pictures of police rounding up haredi protesters, with the question: “Doesn’t this remind you of Iran?”
The booklet was being distributed ahead of an expected indictment of the woman. It also said that the timing, Tisha Be’Av eve, was not coincidental, explaining that since ultra-Orthodox Jews don’t read any joyous material during the fast, the chances were high that the booklet would be widely read in haredi circles.

Kupat Ha’ir must have printed it. Why am I so sure? Because Kupat Ha’ir’s exciting new edition of their “Segulos for Sale” catalogue came in the mail today, and judging from the size and weight of the publication — printing and mailing must have cost at least a few hundred thousand dollars — I’d say it’s pretty clear this organization has unlimited resources.
whoever posted that they are sending money to Hadassah, do your homework. They are in the business of research w/ no normal regulations. there is no fda in israel. you might be underwriting unethical research.

The problem is that there won’t be any investigation of the hospital unless everyone realizes that is a legitimate, fair request. And because none of you pushed for it, that is why these booklets are needed. Justice calls for a full investigation of the care given by the hospital.

I don’t understand the purpose of the flyer. Who are they distributing it to? The people in their own community already know what is going on. Everyone else in EY already knows what is going on. Whether you agree with the police or not, whether you agree with the violent protesting or not, we are all certainly aware. So why put this out? The only reason I can think of is that it’s sole purpose is to fan the flames even more. Great. Just what we need. A hate-filled flyer on erev Tisha B’av to help fan the sinas chinam a little more.
I’m not saying I agree with either side in this fight, as I don’t have all the facts. However, I can be certain that inflammatory propaganda full of hatred is not going to get us anywhere.
this is mind boggling this whole situation i cant believe whats happening the doctors conspire to harm the child wow and for the chareidim this is a fact but to a rational thinking person it is a matter to be decided by an investigation so here we are people who are always thinking that they are being victimized are so emotional that their mind is incapable of rational thinking thats what it all boils down to what a tragedy when minds are wasted its the biggest tragedy of all
