The police say that Mr Lieberman should be charged with offences including corruption and money-laundering, sources say.

The police probe has been under way for the past 13 years.

Mr Lieberman has consistently denied any wrong-doing and says the inquiry is politically motivated.

A final decision on whether to press charges will now be taken by Israel’s most senior legal official, the attorney general.

In a statement, Mr Lieberman said: “The police have been chasing me for 13 years now.

“If they have real evidence, the investigation would not have taken more than 10 years. There is no basis for this indictment.”

If anyone still had any doubts about isael’s “justice” system being corrupt and being motivated by their political [far left]veiws, this clinches it.The minute he began to rise, the investigation swung into full gear![As if there are dobts after former chief “justice”aaron barak’s recent speech.

Hopefully, if he ends up in jail, we can get a new FM who will be less likely to make the types of comments that have been an embarrasment to EY and made the liklihood of a lasting peace settlement much more difficult. Its not the left bringing down the leadership of the right; its the leadership of the right themselves violating the law, engaging in all sorts of theft and fraud yet making believe they have some level of midos. The same behavior is rampant among the religious right in the U.S. republican party who talk about family values then over and over reveal their immoral extramarital and gay affairs.

Just like those ehrleche yiddin in New Jersey that blamed all their crimes on Dwek, like SMR blames it all on an antisemitic federal prosecutor, etc. you blame someone else rather than the ganof who has charged with corruptions. When will these people take responsibility for their own actions, go to jail and do tshuvah.

Mr. Lieberman’s left wing accusers are trying to prepare for the big giveaway of land coming soon so Mr. Netanyahu can help the U.S. show off how they got Israel to bend to the “Palestinians.”
The reason that Israel grabbed the land has not disappeared. They took it because the Arab Muslims were using those exact areas to launch attacks including missiles, bombs, suicide bombings and other sniper, sneaky, sleazy, low class, cowardly acts.
Why give it back? For more attacks?
For 19 years from the establishment of Israel, until the land was taken, the Arab Muslims were constantly killing Jews woooops! excuse me, I mean, Zionists. Then after 1967, they made believe like they are now killing Jews only because they took the land. Lies.
If it’s not the Christian or Muslim blood to bake matzos, then, it’s the Christian Muslim blood to make wine. Then it was the the weay Jews dress. Then it was working with Hitler to kill Jews, for being Jews. Then it was the state of Israel. Then it was, “They took our land.” Then it was, intifada. Then it was Zionism. Then it was Apatheid.
This is all a bunch of fake and slimy reasons to murder Jews. That’s why the Neturei Karta bums should shut their big fat mouths. These Arab Muslims don’t give a darn about Neturei Karta or Zionists or Apartheid or Israelis or Jews or Chasidim or misnagdim or Satmar or Lubavitch or Charedi, because all that is the same to them. They just want to follow Mohamed because he hated the Jews and included his personal hate in the koran and thereby tricked future “believers” to hate the Jews also.
They hate Lieberman because he sees through Rohm Emanuel and his warm buddy Mr. Obama. The left will try to bring Lieberman down but instead, they will only publicize him and his wise decisions, and make him even more famous. Mr. Lieberman will only become more powerful from this. I hope Lieberman becomes the next leader of Israel.
If he did, he would bomb the Jew hating Iranian dictatorship and their nuclear factories. He would tell Mr. Obama and his communism to take a hike. Or, Mr.Lieberman will tell the U.S. to give Texas back to Mexico and only then will the Israelis give back the land they also took.

Israel has a very badly functioning government, judiciary, and police system. The leeway for reversal and personal opinion is so wide that it would make any thinking American stop in amazement. Items that Americans take seriously and rely upon in judicial proceedings are totally absent in Israel. I do not know if FM Lieberman is innocent or guilty. I would guess innocent. I do know that the timing of this investigation stinks as most police actions do here.

This is the left wing trying to bring him down, much like they forced Ariel Sharon to give away land with legal complications, I doubt Mr Netanyahu wants this but it is probably beyond his control, Kol Hakavod to Avgidor Lieberman for speaking the truth to the world for once – Hashem should protect us and bring the Geulah.

I don’t seem to have read one complimentary word in regards to the Israeli Justice system.

Seems odd that on a different topic involving the Chareidim the Israeli justice dept. is unequivocally right!

    Odd isn’t it??
