The lead plaintiff in the lawsuit is Diana Leach of Richland Hills, a former Bell Helicopter employee. Leach was laid off from her position at Bell last October, shortly after filing a lawsuit against the company alleging religious discrimination.

Leach, who is Jewish, said that over the last two years of her employment at Bell supervisors would not allow her to take time off for religious holidays and observances.

She also alleged that she was subjected to harassment by evangelical Christian colleagues and that the human resources department did not act on her complaints.

Bell spokesman Joe LaMarca declined to comment on Leach’s discrimination lawsuit.

20 years ago, I worked at BASF. A bunch of farshtunkne anti-Semites, they made Jewish jokes and women jokes at my expense. I quit and found another job.

In my experience suing for religious discrimination -the courts couldn’t care less. But, I think she should sue and make it a female sex discrimination case. This way- you have a good chance of winning some money in court because most of the judges are PC. Liking Jews and other non-mainstream religions isn’t PC.
