Fire departments from Kiryas Joel, Mombasha, Washingtonvile, Woodbuty and Lakeside were all on the scene for the 3-alarm fire at 13 Berdichev and Schunnemunk Roads.
The heavy smoky fire was on the first floor of the building which was full of mattresses making it difficult to get the fire under control.
All students were evacuated safely with the assistance of KJ Hatzolah and KJ Public Safety.
The building sustained heavy structure damage.
how did this fire start,
Burich Hashem NO INJURIES.
דער אורזאך פונעם פייער איז ביזדערווייל אומקלאר, לויט געוויסע קוועלער איז עס געשעהן נאכדעם וואס א בחור האט געלערנט זוהר הקדוש…
it was an electrical fire. they started working there for the upcoming years renovations.
Midah keneged Midah for burning trash containers in Yerushalayim. Maybe this has been deemed just another such container!
Hare they go again !
To whos does this dormitory building belong to, the Aronim or Zalonim?
This is why they have to follow building and safety codes
I don’t know why this is even news there is a fire there atleast once a week
As a live bystander to the scene it is a shame that this can happen in our community that bocherim an average of 350-400 boys kin eiyen hora… should not be under rosh yeshivas observation, especially when it is not the first nor the second but lets hope the last…A Fire outbreak does not happen just like that… There was a major argument between the boys and the hanalah yeshiva of seperating the younger division from the older division, to have more control on the boys.(good morning! Thats after several wake up calls from the boys poor courtesy and ethics to their behavior)* In the lunchroom- by putting in a buzzer we shouldnt be able to shmooze with our friends…* a total of 8 dumpster during one zman * an estimate of 10 Brush fires * hollering on the streets past midnight… ) Words will never convey the corruption of UTA. Their bad reputation has traveled way to far but hopefully they have learned their lesson and commprehends that action needs to taken asap.
