Bloomberg leads Thompson 51 to 43 percent according to the poll, which has a margin of error of 4.2 percent, and was conducted from October 3 to 5.

The poll interviewed 1,000 “adults,” of which 888 were registered voters, and 561 were considered “likely voters.”

The poll referred to Thompson campaign as providing “strong opposition” to Bloomberg, who leads among older voters, but trails Thompson among younger ones.

The Bloomberg campaign spokesman Howard Wolfson said Survey USA has not been as accurate as other polls in this year’s elections, and said, these latest numbers are “out of whack with other public polls and the reality.”

Thompson has a big chance, if only the media and the whole press give him a drop of coverage.

Bloomy has the whole city in his pocket by the billions he has. We can unseat him!

Bloomy has to be careful. His biggest problem could be apathy. If people don’t come out to group and Willie gets a few groups to vote we could have another Democratic administration. Chas Vshalom a repeat of Dovid Dinkins.

The biggest proof that Thompson stands a chance is Bloomberg’s 60 million dollars. You don’t spend that kind of money against a candidate that stands no chance.
