The woman drew away from the group she was travelling is believed to have slipped due to the fog. Her family has been informed of her death.

The Foreign Ministry said the Israeli Embassy in Bolivia received the news on the woman’s death on Thursday and was preparing to fly her body to Israel.

The Road of Death, officially known as North Yungas Road, has claimed many victims throughout the years. The 65-kilometre road leads from the capital of La Paz to the town of Coroico, northeast of La Paz in the Yungas region of Bolivia.

It is considered one of the 10 most dangerous roads in the world. In the past few years Bolivia has been working to improve the road’s conditions and safety, but accidents still occur on it from time to time.

BDE. Nebech, so many israelis travel all over the world in pursuit of happiness, but I think in the end they all return home with nothing.

Young people should consder whether the risk of doing any ‘dangerous’ activity is really worth the reward.

I am always amazed at the percentage of people who die climbing mountains and riding motor bikes for example. Just googled Mt Everest – it says 9% die trying to climb it. Can’t find the percentage for motorcyclists. If there was a 10% chance of dying doing something, I think I would prefer to watch paint dry.

you know i’ve been on that road and its egregiously treacheous. how anyone could believe that HKBH would protect someone from deliberate risks is sad.

Why are you all picking on #2 ? Calling nasty names is less holy than what he/she said. You are no better.

#2 is right. Vnishmartem meod lnafshoseichem. There is absolutely NO excuse for doing something stupidly dangerous.
