The deadly E. Coli outbreak linked to bagged spinach has spread to 20 states and sickened more than 90 people, federal health officials say.
so if u catch the flu bug you werent nizer in toyluim?? Have another l’chaim! O, sorry that was another post!
Seriously instead of making the US crazy y not just tell us what brand it was??
In my opinion: anyone who is “nizzher” in “achilas toiluim” doesn’t have a problem with his speech> some people around here don’t be “nizzher” enough
anon 8:00 is RIGHT. E coli is a bug is it not? So if you are nizzher you won’t be affected by it.
While we’re on the subject, is there any hechsher that checks for that type of bug???
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is warning consumers about a possible nationwide outbreak of E. coli traced to packaged spinach.
Federal officials have advised consumers to not eat bagged fresh spinach at this time. People who think they might have become ill after eating bagged spinach are urged to contact their local health department.
If it’s in your refrigerator, toss it.
Though there have been no reported cases of e-coli linked to bagged spinach in New York, at least some supermarkets are pulling the bagged spinach just in case.
“We pulled it all, hours ago,” said Mary Ann Regan, produce manager at the Newburgh Stop&Shop. “We got an e-mail from corporate.”
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced they have linked 49 cases of E. coli poisoning in eight states to bagged fresh spinach.
Eight of those 49 people developed a severe reaction, called hemolytic uremic syndrome, a type of kidney failure, and one person died as a result in Wisconsin.
Scientist have linked the outbreak to bagged spinach, but not any particular brand, and the source of the contaminated product is not clear. The FDA has warned consumers not to eat bagged, fresh spinach, but locally, some stores were unsure whether they would be affected.
The concern does not involve frozen spinach products.
i am afraid some one on this blog might be affected by the outbreak already
sure has the symptoms
