The Kalispell residents held signs reading “No Neo-Nazis,” and “No Hate in My Backyard,” on Thursday to protest the showing of “Epic: The Story of the Waffen SS,” which takes an admiring view of the Nazis’ combat arm during World War II.

It was the second film shown at the Flathead County Library by Karl Gharst, who on March 29 screened a movie debating whether the Jewish Holocaust really occurred. He says he plans to show another film, “The Truth Behind the Gates of Auschwitz,” on May 29, and he plans other events for the summer.

Its somewhat ironic that in Germany, you would be jailed for at least 5 years for showing a holocaust denial film while in Montana, its being shown in the local public library. Isn’t the first amendment wonderful???

Yes, the first amendment actually IS wonderful. It is one of the main reasons that the United States is the “mdeinah shel chesed” that it is, allowing us to lead our lies as frum Yidden.

What is impressive is that this place Kalispell and for hundreds of miles around there are literally a handful of Jews who live there, yet we get this reaction from the goyim by their own initiative. Things could have been otherwise.

Actually the people of Montana have been quite forceful in letting the neo-nazis and the KKK know that they are NOT welcome.

“—a handful of Jews who live there—“—————???? No, I do not think you have been to Kalispell or you would realize there are hundreds of Jews who live in Kalispell and the Flathead Valley! In is not on Orthodox community; however, our numbers are greater than “a handfull!”

Come visit during the Holidays and you will find the kosher section of the grocery stores “sold out.”

One does what one can with what is available.

Finally, I would defend the showing of the movie and a movie pro-KKK. In the Flathead Valley there is room for everyone—–even regardless of sexual preference.

I hope you will all come by and give us a look this summer. You might be pleasantly surprised, regardless of your personal bias.

“BIG SKY” is a “big tent!”
