Monsey, NY – The Rockland kosher supermarket on 27 Orchard Street in Monsey, NY had to shut down in the middle of a busy holiday season due to a fire in its meat kitchen, and due to the sprinkler system that spread some chemicals which destroyed some food. Health inspectors and Ramapo Police Department are investigating.

In all honesty, there is too much coincidence to let this story go untouched. Monsey? Meat market? Fire? This will generate a lot of speculation. Whether true or not is a different story.
Monsey and kosher meat just don;t seem to go together these days.
some people make such stupid comments
I WAS JUST THERE, THE STORE IS OPEN PROBALLY CLOSING FOR YOM TOV SOON THOUGH.
I WAS JUST THERE, THE STORE IS OPEN
The livers are definately kosher now.
I was there this morning, when the fire trucks came. No one knew what was going on. Someone outside claimed that “someone had seen smoke on the other side of the building.”
I got out with my stuff just in time. They delivered it ahead of schedule. Maybe no new customers were allowed in, so there were fewer deliveries to make?
DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHEN ITS GOING TO OPEN?
Hey Tina, you are also in Monsey? I thought only in Williamsburg.
No this is a different butcher and a different supermarket about about a mile apart. But I believe they are not anti-zionist. Is viznitz anti-zionist?
No.
Is this that same butcher who was caught selling non kosher products as kosher?
