The clashes began last month and have been taking place almost every day.

Massive police forces were dispatched to the area to stop the protestors from disrupting the work at the site.

Following the riots, the police closed Louis Pasteur Street after the protestors gathered on the road. Three people were arrested.

The excavation works in the area were resumed Monday morning after a short break. Immediately afterwards, buses carrying haredi protestors arrived in the area. Police officials clarified that they would not let the protestors cause disturbances.

Rabbi Moshe Sternbuch Chief Rabbi Ra’avad of the Edah HaChareidis was also present at the protest. Rav Sternbuch required medical treatment after the Israeli police threw tear gas into the crowd.

first if you riot you must be willing to suffer thew conciquencies no matter who you are.
But all tests and excavations have shown they are not jewish graves and contains pagan alters if any thing maybe they should be removed.

Was Sterenbach (who I think also goes by the name of rav shternbuch) arrested? I cannot believe such a rav would have condoned or participated in the violence against the police that they had to use tear gas on him.

The whole world understands the concept of letting the dead rest in peace, but the Israeli government – due to it’s hatred of anyhing which reminds them of our great jewish heritage – doesn’t seem to get it. Though I fully back Israel in all areas, to this I must say “Shame on you, Israel”

When Charedie yeshivah bachurim get violent with trained police officers and get a beating why are the police at fault? Dont get violent with someone who you know will beat you up if you hit him! It is their job to use force to control the mob if necessary.

I shuddered when I heard these bachurim calling their fellow jew Nazi! Do they have a clue what they are saying? They look like a bunch of brainwashed idiots!

This is all fake and public relations. If they suffered so much at the hands of their Zionist brothers (like Palestinians) then why don’t they go to the UN? Why don’t they demand international peacekeepers in Beit Shemesh and Meah Shearim? Why aren’t their leaders meeting foreign ambassadors? Why aren’t they going to Amnesty International? What a bunch of losers. This is not anti-Zionism even like Neturei Karta. This is HEFKERUS!

What violence against police? Look at the video! 90% of the time the violence is perpetrated by the secular zionist police which are usually comprised of arabs, ethiopians and russians.

Where were these holy people when Yidden were being dug up in Gush Katif?! I never heard one complaint from these people!! Let us not start on the issue of “digging up” the live people.

The two most important words in that sentence are “THEY SAY”. These frumme hotheads have no definite and unassailable proof of their contention; “they say”.

So, on that shaky and extremely doubtful basis,, they are making a tumult and once again turning public opinion against themselves and – by association – the rest of chareidi Jewry in EY.

Is it any wonder that the secular Israelis dislike us so much? All because a few unemployed yeshiva bocherim have nothing to do other than to behave like an uneducated rabble and to riot like illiterate goyim.

Quite frankly, I expect better of the so-called cream of our people.

look at the video; it doesnt look like a riot to me! it looks like a civilized protest! and that 85 yr. old man doesnt look like a big threat! why spray him up! oh! oh! i forgot these are chariedim! look at these riots, throwing rocks, burning garbages, beating up policeman and they dont even serve in the army, they dont work…[this looks like a picnic compared with the lefty riots] p.s. all the countrys of the world preserve jewish cemeteries except for… one second! the state spent millions of dollars to reroute a main highway in order not to disturb a arab cemetery! its a shame this cemetery isnt also arabs! can the charadim ever be right?? does the state gets treated by the world the same way it treats the charadim? pss. the same way the state cant understand why the world hates them niether can the chariedim understand the chiloni hatred

I’m sorry but I need to point out the credibility gap here. The “last stand” was in Ashkelon and then it turned out to be PAGAN graves.

When one yells fire in crowded place, one needs to ensure there is a fire. Otherwise people get hurt for no reason.

This time, the credibility of the Ravaad Shlita got hurt.

I plead with people that feed the information to our Gedolim to get their act together. If not, when we REALLY need the Gedolim, their credibility will not be there.

Bunch of idiots! The gedolim r telling us its jewish graves, the gedolim r telling us to go out and protest, the gedolim r going out themselves, nothing will convince u as long as ur heilige medinah is on the other side… So who is more competent in ur eyes A talmid chuchom and well known gadol? No a secular jew (which is making ur wine nesech) because he is a state official of the “heilige medinah” what do they have to do to change ur opinion? if they will send (frum) yiden to the gas chambers willit change ur opinion? I bet a million dollars it won’t change u…. Bunch of idiots….

if these zionist murderers would be treated this way by israeli enemies they would raise a worldwide cry – lets not forget what r’ elchonon wasserman said about them – that they are zera amaleik – may there be no zecher left of the entire medina – in the meantime the zionists should remember that they would not want to be treated this way by the iranian army
