Cuba – Former Cuban leader Fidel Castro said that he had never been “anti Jewish” and hated both Nazism and Fascism.

He made the remarks while discussing an article by prominent Jewish American journalist Jeffrey Goldberg.
“I was never anti-Jewish and I share with him a deep hatred against Nazi-Fascism and the genocide perpetrated against the Jewish people by Hitler and his followers,” Castro was quoted by the local press as saying.
In his article to be published in The Atlantic magazine next month, Goldberg discussed the possibility of an Israeli strike against Iran’s nuclear facilities in the coming months.
Castro made frequent public appearances in July and August, focusing his attention on international issues, especially on the threat of a nuclear war.
He’s right! He doesn’t single out Jews or Judaism, he hates all religions!!! There are bad people who aren’t specifically anti-Semitic and Castro is one of them.

of the chief reasons Fidel fought his revolution, with all the casinos & coruption within the Batista government.
The surname ‘Castro’ is common amongst Iberian Jews.

There are additionally several surnames which indicate Jewish origin, like “De-La-Cruz”, or “Delacroix”, which means “of the cross”, a name commonly given to Conversos upon their conversion. An example of this is “San Juan De La Cruz”, known as St. John of the Cross.
The Jewish presence in Italy, France, Spain and Portugal over the millennia was so influential that the 15th century Bishop Lope de Barrientos, who was himself of Jewish ancestry, defended the Conversos by demonstrating that many noble families of europe had Jewish bloodlines….
as a Cuban Jew let me say this: he saying that he does not hate Jews is like Mao saying that he did not hate left handed people. big deal. he still stole everyone’s property and made it untenable to live as a decent human being. there were Jews on both sides of the Revolution – big time. the chief of Havana police was a Jew (killed by commies) and my mother’s wealthy family welcomed “los barbudos” (the beards) as an end to the corruption of Batista. went from bad to worse. they killed the geese that laid the golden eggs.

Also, that the Italian bishop was quoted as saying that most royal families in Europe had some Jewish bloodlines. There is a website (Hope it’s off the air already) that claims all the leaders of the World War II era were Jewish. FDR, for example was descended from Jews on both, his father’s (Roosevelt /Rosenfeld) and his mother’s (Delano, being Sephardic Jews.) side. Churchill’s mother (they claim) was Jewish. Stalin –according to them– was Jewish. His “Real” name was Joseph David Dzhugashvili. So was Boris Yeltsin, according to them. Their putting the “Jew” label on everyone wasn’t for complimentary reasons. They spewed hatred and dissension in every sentence. If their stuff wouldn’t be so vicious it would be hilarious.
