The university said Tuesday that 54-year-old Mark Zacharias of Ellettsville is wanted on a criminal mischief charge.
The school says he’s suspected in vandalism that happened Nov. 30 at Goodbody Hall. There’s no phone listing for Zacharias in Ellettsville.
Someone used a rock to break the glass of an information board in the lobby of the hall, which houses the university’s Jewish studies program.
Police say they’ve been investigating five suspected anti-Semitic incidents on campus, including rocks thrown through windows at the Chabad (hah-BAHD’) House and the Hillel Center.
In another case, someone took Hebrew texts from library shelves and urinated on them.
