Margery Tannenbaum of Hauppauge (HAW’-pawg) pleaded guilty to aggravated harassment on Friday.
Tannenbaum was accused in February 2009 of posting the Craigslist ad and giving callers the girl’s phone number.
Police said the posting was an act of revenge stemming from a dispute between the girl and Tannenbaum’s daughter.
As a result of her guilty plea, the 41-year-old Tannenbaum will serve one year of probation.
She must also perform 35 hours of community service and undergo psychological counseling.
Her attorney said she was “clearly sorry for what transpired.”
She’s clearly sick in the head…
Sure she is sorry; she was caught.
35 hours of community service? LOL It’s not even 2 days. I would make her do at least 200 hundred hours of cleaning public bathrooms at truck stops.
Doesn’t seem like much of a punishment for injuring someone’s child.
