The expense of bringing the president to NYC will cost the taxpayers millions of dollars, far more then the million + that this fundraiser will bring in. When you look at the expense of Airforce One, Secret Service protection and NYPD overtime it comes to millions. Its beyond me how congress allow this madness to continue. What makes this more wrong is the fact that if the president was just coming to fundraise then the US taxpayer would get refunded by the commitee or person that he’s fundraising for – in this case it would be the Democratic party, but being that the president is initially coming in to NYC for presidential duties such as giving interviews then the US taxpayer picks up the whole tab. Its a game well played.

Considering his support of big banks, military intervention. torture and destruction of civil rights, he should be fundraising for the Republican party as well.
