Jerusalem – A senior Israeli official says President Barack Obama demonstrated in his latest Mideast policy speech that “Washington does not understand what we face.”

The official says Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was disappointed the speech did not address the Palestinian demand to repatriate to Israel millions of Palestinians, most descendants of people who were driven from or fled homes in the war over the Jewish state’s 1948 creation.
Speaking Friday ahead of Netanyahu’s White House meeting with Obama, the official said, “There is a sense that Washington does not understand the reality, that Washington does not understand what we face.”
The official spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to comment on U.S. policy.
Netanyahu arrived in Washington early Friday.
I wonder how today’s meetings will go
Everyone should bombard their representatives in Washington with e-mails

Dear
I am terribly disturbed by President Obama’s position on the Israel delivered on May 19, 2011. Any student of Jewish history and Arab culture clearly understands that the President’s speech is the effectively beginning of the end of the State of Israel. The only goal of a “Palestinian” state is to kill Jews. Anyone who thinks that there is any long term intent of Arabs to accept the State of Israel as a Jewish state is clearly delusional.
Thank you for your continued support of Israel and its right to exist securely in a region filled with deep rooted hate.
Sincerely,
There are two realities here, and Obama has nailed the coffin shut to insure that both are fixed on the demise of Israel. There is a policy of the White House, and there is a position that is implemented by the State Department. The White House position has fluctuated, depending on the friendliness of the president. It was better in the days of Reagan and Bush II. It was sinking badly in the days of Carter, Clinton, and is almost totally sunk under Obama. The State Department has a long standing hatred to Israel, and this has existed despite the friendlier presidents. It was always a challenge to the president to overcome the environment of the State Department and behave with humaneness and morality toward Israel. Perhaps the State Department was trying to do the “nice” thing, and was blinded by oil dollars. Historians may have better perspective. But for the WH to adopt a similar position is a fatal blow to US-Israel relations. Obama is not being practical and open minded. He is being hateful and genocidal. Yes, he is kissing up to the terrorists of the world. Killing bin Laden ain;t worth that much if he turns and supports terror elsewhere.
Don’t worry – it’ll be over by NOVEMBER 2012 – he’s going onto pension at the US Taxpayer’s expense – Hashem Yeracheim !!!! WE SHALL OVERCOME!!!!!
of course he understands,he knows exactly what he is doing, this muslim in chief is out to destroy the U.S and Israel,
let’s hope and pray, the citizens of America will wake up in 2012,and vomit out this abomination
“Washington doesn’t understand what we face”
