Mount Kisco, NY – A Newburgh-based police union is providing lawyers for Mount Kisco police officers under investigation in the beating death of a drunken vagrant last month.

In a statement issued this afternoon, the New York State Union of Police Associations said it received requests for legal representation under terms of its agreement with the Mount Kisco Police Benevolent Association.
“I am not at liberty to identify the officers requesting representation or the attorneys contacted to provide representation,” Anthony Solfaro, president of the state union, said in the statement. [lowhud]
