Lakewood, NJ – A Hatzolah paramedic responding to a call about a burned child was injured tonight in a Route 9 collision involving two other vehicles, police said.

The name of the Hatzolah paramedic wasn’t available, but he suffered a leg injury and was taken by a Hatzolah ambulance to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, according to Sgt. Maureen McGilloway of the township Police Department.
The Hatzolah paramedic was on his way to help a child with a burn injury, she said.
The child, whose name and age were not available, was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center for treatment, she said.
