    New York – Former New York state Sen. Carl Kruger has pleaded guilty to four counts in an influence peddling case.

    Kruger agreed not to appeal any prison sentence up to 11 years and three months. His sentencing was set for April 26.

    Kruger resigned from the state senate earlier Tuesday. He had held his seat since 1994.

    He pleaded guilty to two conspiracy counts and two counts citing Travel Act violations.

    Kruger has been facing charges he accepted more than $1 million in bribes from a variety of business people and has been awaiting a federal trial in New York City.

    HIP HIP HOORAY!!

    Let this be a lesson to all of the Brooklyn politicians. We are fed up, we aren’t going to take anymore Anthony Weiners and Carl Krugers. We want honest politicians, I don’t care what color, race, or creed they are. Just be honest!

    Hmmmm … the article doesn’t include any mention of the fact that the crook in question is a DEMOCRAT.

    Oh yeah, it is an AP article – that explains that.

    Lets now sit back and see if the NYC/NYS system of justice really will punish him properly with serious prison time or will his high priced legal talent get him a slap on the wrist.
