“There’s a limit to the shaming of the haredi (ultra-orthodox) public,” he said, warning that if the criticism continues, opposition leader Tzipi Livni (Kadima) “will end up with the same number of mandates the United Torah Judaism Party has.”

does he think it is Purim or does he live in a Topsy turvy world world where wrong is right and down is up.

he is completely ignoring why people politicians, the media are attacking the herdein, they are attacking the action by some herdiem who want to force their chumras on, not only other frum people but the whole Israel society.

but that is no surprise if one knows his history

Everyone’s aware that it’s just a small group of about thousand lunatics and that they don’t represent the real haredi world. The problem is that since no haredi leader came out at the time here in EY to condemn their actions it was assumed that their behavior had wide support (Rav Yosef had a strong letter but it came a bit too late). So if the Deputy Health Minister has a problem with the media, he should speak to his bosses.

Livni is almost there. Many polls in the last few days show her support plummeting.

Was there really no actual HEALTH CARE professional that could have been given this position? Unbelievable. This man has zero experience in the field. Other than being a principal of a Bais Yakov he’s never held a real job besides politician.

I hope he takes an extra pair of cloth next time he enters the knesset. He might end up getting a splash of water for making such a statement.

The anti Charedi problem won’t go away until the Charedim act humble and stop imposing their life style on everyone.

PS. If he leave the government than Lieberman’s Yisrael Beiteinu bill will pass stating that completion of IDF or national services are prerequisites for MKs.

“…if the criticism continues, opposition leader Tzipi Livni (Kadima) “will end up with the same number of mandates the United Torah Judaism Party has.””

He got the effect right but not the cause. He reminds me of the story of the frogs who thought it was their loud croaking that made the rain fall.
