Iran accuses Amir Hekmati of bring a CIA spy.
A U.S. official says Switzerland was informed of the sentence Tuesday — a day after it was reported in Iranian media. Switzerland acts as a go-between in such situations. It represents American interests in Iran because the U.S. and Iran have no diplomatic relations. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because sensitive discussions continue between Switzerland and Iran.
The U.S. has complained that Iran refuses to let Swiss diplomats visit Hekmati in prison.
The Obama administration says the charges against the 28-year-old former military translator are a complete fabrication.
Why did America be so nice and rescue the Iranian sailors?
A sheine reine kaporah!
To #1 - Your comment was ludicrous! According to international law, ships at sea are supposed to rescue other sailors in trouble. Were the Iranian sailors who were rescued supposed to be blamed, because their leader(s) are meshuganah? Please!!
America should arrest some Iranian spies living here in NYC>
They should arrest that Meshigener Achmadenijad when he comes to de UN ,
Maybe we should ask the netura karta to speak to achmadenijad, maybe he will listen to them; now that’s a good connection;
